When I first heard about the concept of Metroid Fusion—that is, that Samus is somehow infused with Metroid DNA—this is pretty much how I pictured the result. Of course, by the time I drew this, I knew the real deal, so I came up with an alternate story.
Basically, after the whole deal with the X virus and Biologic and alla that, the Metroid vaccine within Samus' body starts to mutate, and it affects her power suit as well. She can absorb enemy's life force through her arm cannon, just like the Metroids. Oh yeah, Samus & the Metroids are © Nintendo. |
